This pair of periscope glasses are designed by a London based inventor named Dominic Wilcox. He has designed these glasses for those who are too short to enjoy quality time at the gigs or any public event.
They are also known as the One Foot Taller glasses. It is important here to note that these glasses are designed in such a manner that they add a foot to the eye level of the person who is wearing them.
His invention came in a crucial juncture of time when he was challenged by others to find quality solutions to everyday problems. The design and build quality of these glasses are quite impressive.
The glasses come with a smaller mirror that is positioned at an angle of 45 degrees towards a large mirror which points to the outside direction.
On an interview, the London based designer stated that he had experienced the same problem of not being able to see things that are happening on the center stage.
This is the reason that he can correlate with the issues of others. In other words, his personal experience at public events has paved the way for the invention of periscope glasses.
On a further note, Dominic added that he is a six-foot-plus guy. However, in concerts and events, you may find a seven-foot guy also.
