A wife was left devastated after her husband left and went on a honeymoon trip with her best friend.
Everything was going great between Kathryn and her husband Tim that they even decided to treat themselves to another honeymoon years after they got married.
The couple had found a sale at a luxury hotel they had been wanting to visit for some time so Tim told his wife that they would book it after work.
When Kathryn was finally ready to book the trip that evening, she noticed that her husband was not happy or excited at all. He then told her that he wanted a divorce.
“Everything after that is a blur, but I can picture his face and how nervous he was. I was so, so, so, so shocked, but I know I asked him why and he just said, quite coldly, ‘Because I can see that I’m not in love with you and this marriage is not going to work out,’” Kathryn told Capsule’s Divorce Diaries.
She was left devastated and her family also couldn’t believe it. Some even questioned whether a third party was involved.
However, things took turn for the worse when Kathryn noticed that her friends started acting strangely. She then found herself left out of social gatherings and special events.
She then discovered that one of her friends was in a relationship with her husband.
Shocked and hurt, Kathryn tried calling both Tim and her friend, but neither of them answered.
Kathryn then decided to go to her friend’s workplace but she was told by the receptionist that she was on leave.
She then discovered that her friend had posted photos from the same hotel she and Tim had been planning to book.
When Tim and her friend got back from their vacation, they told everyone about their relationship and insisted that it had only started after Tim ended his marriage with Kathryn.
“It was complete bulls*** and I know it. How do you suddenly go on a romantic holiday with someone you’ve only been dating a handful of weeks?” Kathryn expressed.
One person commented: “Evil people like them won’t ever live a happy peaceful life , better of without.”
Another wrote: “Wowzers, I thought I was in a crappy situation but that’s miles worse than what’s going on for me!! I hope…”
A third said: “He loves you, he’s just not in love with you. That line works both ways.”
