As a high school student, Homecoming dance means a lot, and it really is one of those days that you remember forever.

However, it seemed like David was not going to be able to enjoy the night like everyone else.
That was because no one would agree to go with him, because he has Down Syndrome.

Just when Daniel thought he was going alone, a tenth grader named Kylie stepped up.

When she noticed that Daniel didn’t have anyone to go with, Kyle decided to ask Daniel herself.

Obviously, Daniel was more than excited to be asked by Kylie. And Daniel’s mom, Tonya, was brought to tears when she heard the news.
“It’s not about that Daniel has a disability. It’s that Kylie didn’t see any disability. That is what your heart wants as a mom,” said Tonya.

Kylie did this out of goodness in her heart, but she probably didn’t expect THIS to happen on the homecoming day.

As Kylie and Daniel went outside her house to start heading to the party, they could not believe their eyes.

A Rolls Royce pulled over right in front of them, and the camera crew showed up.
This car was going to take Kylie and Daniel to the venue.

It turned out that the team at the Fox5 Surprise Squad learned about Kylie’s sweet gesture, and because they were so impressed by her, the team decided to do something extra special for Kylie and Daniel.

And Rolls Royce wasn’t the end of the surprise.

Not only was there a red carpet rolled out at the venue just for them, but Kylie and Daniel also learned that they were given an opportunity to go to Disneyland for free!

Lastly, Daniel was given $10,000 to continue his education after high school, while Kylie was given a brand new car.

When interviewed by the Fox5 squad, Kylie said that “I don’t think of kids that have a disability.. I don’t think of them as being different.”

Daniel ended up breaking down in tears of joy. It seemed as though that the team, combined with Kylie’s kind gesture, definitely delivered an unforgettable night for Daniel.
