A Green Sea Turtle That Was Missing A Flipper Was Released Back Into The Sea


In the time where the world has become obnoxious to the pain and suffering of one another, a green turtle who had landed on the beach as he was missing a flipper got a second chance at life as veterinarians and biologists took him under care and after treatments and a long time in the rehabilitation center, he was finally released back in the sea.

A green sea turtle that was found on a beach was missing a flipper which made it almost impossible for him to walk on the beach and get back to the sea.

A few locals saw the turtle and instantly called up a rescue group who then took him to the rehabilitation center. In the center, the turtle was taken care of by biologists and veterinarians.

He was kept under observation and treatment before he was fine again.

The turtle was not given a prosthetic flipper or anything as he was able to swim even when he was missing his one flipper.

But again, the condition made it impossible for him to walk on the beach and thus the rescue team had to release him directly into the sea where the turtle happily swam away.

You may think that the Green Turtles are called green because they have a green shell but this is not the reason for their name.

The Green Turtles are called green because of their fat that is in green color.  This is the only turtle species that are vegetarian or herbivores.

After the reach to the size of 8 to 10 inches, they only algae and sea grass. They are beautiful to look at and are generally no harm to humans.
