Many people forget that it is important to feel good about their looks as it can boost confidence, uplift mood, and strengthen relationships with others.
One grandmother turned to MakeOver Guy after she decided it was time to have a brand new look.
“It’s time to do something that’s just for me,” she shared. “Hopefully, this is gonna be the ticket.”
Kelly from Iron Mountain, Michigan said that her hair became frail and brittle from too much hair treatments. She thought it was straight but the Makeover Guy helped her discover her hair’s natural wave.
Her new stylish and younger appearance emphasized her curls. With her tresses cut short, her natural waves became very evident. Her bouncy curls and highlights made her feel sexy once again.
When the grandma first looked at her reflection, she was so shocked that she couldn’t find the words to say.
She gasped and couldn’t speak for some time. Kelly raised her arms, danced in happiness and finally said: “I feel gorgeous!”
She added: “It’s not pretty, it’s frickin’ gorgeous. I’m glad we’re going out for dinner tonight. I can be glamorous and fabulous.”
The grandma danced for the camera and the Makeover Guy gave her a hug.
The vide description read: “Kelly came in from the Upper Michigan Peninsula with very fragile and overly processed hair. She thought it was pin straight but discovered her natural wave supported with pin curls.
“A slightly pear shaped face hair was given width at the temples and drawn forward to balance close set eyes. Lips are kept soft to draw focus up to the eyes.”
When her children and grandchildren saw Kelly, they almost did not recognize her. They were stunned and couldn’t believe her appearance had changed so much.
Her new look just took 20 off her age!
