With spring rapidly approaching, soon love will be in the air.
And this lovely goose has been struck by Cupid’s arrow.. but her love interest is not who you would expect!
Meet Kyle, a beautiful female Canadian Goose that has absolutely fallen in love with Mike Javanjee man from Oregon.
Mike and his friends were boating on Lake Oswego located in Oregon when they found a little baby goose floating in the water. It appeared to have been abandoned by its mother and family, so it was just idly floating in the lake waiting for someone to help it.

Mike felt bad for the baby goose and decided he would take her under his wing and nurture her. The plan was to nurture her until she was old enough to live life on her own and release her back into the wild. But things don’t always go according to plan.

But when it came time for Kyle to be set free in the wild, she decided that she didn’t want to leave her beloved caretaker.point 107 | Instead, she wanted to live with Mike for the rest of her life.point 158 | It seems all that traveling around with Mike really rubbed off on her.point 216 |

I’ve tried to get rid of her, you know. I’ve driven her miles away and then left her in the middle of nowhere and when I come back she’s already home before me, so there’s not a lot we can do.

It seems that Kyle has become quite enamored with Mike. No matter where Mike goes, Kyle is sure to be not far behind. Whether it’s on the lake when Mike is boating, walking around the city as Mike shops or even when he’s on dates. In fact, Kyle has impacted Mike’s dating life quite significantly. Kyle has no problem with men hanging out with Mike, but the moment a woman tries to get close, Kyle decides she needs to step in.
When girls come around and she senses they’re a threat, she lets them know. She’s smart enough to know actually who the threats are and who they aren’t.

While Kyle may not be the best wingman for Mike, he has embraced her. She is now part of his daily routine and he is sure to go boating on the lake quite often making sure that she gets the exercise she needs. Even with the boat going at max speed, Kyle is able to keep up with her beloved human.
It may not be your typical love story, but this one sure is sweet, especially with Kyle being so happy to be with Mike. Kyle even spends some time in Mike’s home where she does some pretty goofy things! While Mike never intended to have Kyle be a companion for his life, he certainly seems happy with the result.
