Tawny and Brea aspire to be firefighters one day, and they looked quite impressed with the big red truck.

Their mom, Brittany Gottke, said to them about their Easter presents. She said to them that do they know whom she brought as their Easter present. Well, the girls missed their Dad a lot as he was an army man stationed in Afghanistan.

Suddenly, a firefighter wearing a mask gets out of the truck and jokingly asks the girls that did they start the fire.

The firefighter then kneels down and took off his mask. The girls yelled ‘Daddy!’

Their father, Sergeant First Class Terry Gottke, was home after one year. He was stationed in Afghanistan for one year. The best part of this homecoming was when Terry said to his daughter that daddy doesn’t have to go back.

Just like his little girls were excited to see him, so was the local community. They had planned grand celebration regarding Terry’s homecoming.

A digital street sign was customized, and it read – Terry Gottke Wayne 1643, Welcome Home

It was something done by the community people to honor his services in the armed forces.
