While Kenai and the teen appeared in perfect harmony at the beginning of their photoshoot, the dog most likely had enough of the girl’s attention, prompting it to spread its jaws and bite the girl on her face.

“I do not know if I touched its hip or if it reacted like this because it is old, or it was because I hugged it and scared it,” the 17-year-old said in an interview with La Nacion according to The Daily Star.

Following the incident, Lara has shared the pictures from the photoshoot online and revealed that her dog won’t suffer any consequences because she believes the attack wasn’t intentional.

“Its pains are growing and pain could have generated this reaction,” a veterinarian allegedly told the girl as he implied that old age could have played a role in the dog’s attack.
