Vatican Argues People Can’t Change Or Choose Genders Because God Created Us The Way We Are

In a newly released official document, the Vatican has upset the LGBT communities around the world after claiming that people cannot change or choose genders as they please.

In the document titled “Male And Female: He Created Them,” the Vatican accused the ‘transgenderism’ movement of serving as a bid to “annihilate nature.”

The publications were released amid the LGBT Pride Month and argued that God created males and females in order to make babies. According to the Vatican, it is unnatural to change what we were given when we were born.

Following the release of the controversial documents, the LGBT Catholics quickly lashed out at the writings and accused them of promoting hatred and violence against homosexual and transgender individuals.

As the New Ways Ministry added, the publications will further confuse religious individuals who are questioning their sexual orientation.

“The real-life experiences of LGBT people seem entirely absent from this document,” a Jesuit priest, Father James Martin, said. Father Martin previously wrote Building A Bridge, a book on building relations between the Catholic Church and the LGBT community.

According to Vatican, however, the freshly-released ‘guidance’ aims to help Catholic parents, students, clergy, and teachers address what they believe to be an “educational crisis” in the sensitive topic of sex education.

On the positive note, the documents called for the people to take part in a “path of dialogue” and discussing the “gender theory.”

“We should welcome the congregation’s call to dialogue and listening on gender, and I hope that conversation will now begin,” Father Martin added.

Speaking of the “outdated” concepts involving the rejecting of terms such as transgender and intersex, New Ways Ministry head, Francis DeBernardo, added:

“Gender is also biologically determined by genetics, hormones and brain chemistry – things not visible at birth. People do not choose their gender, as the Vatican claims, they discover it through their lived experiences.”
