The rescuers found a Great Pyrenees dog who had a gunshot wound on the streets of Houston in March 2018 and now he is known as Neo.
The dog was found by the TAGG Rescue group based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas and Colorado Springs, Colorado. The dog rescue group helps in rescuing the large breeds like Great Pyrenees and then helps them in finding a home where they can live comfortably.
Neo has magically transformed with the help of his new mom and local rescue team. Neo’s story once again proves that every stray dog deserves a second chance in living a comfortable and happy life.
The president of the rescue group, who is known as Leah Forbes, exclaimed that they bring dogs from all over the state and if the dogs are not adopted then we vet them and help them heal.
When they fully recover and become healthy, we move them to the foster homes until anyone selects them.
Neo was found in bad condition with a rope around his neck before the rescuers found him. He had a gunshot wound which was extraordinarily anemic and was tested positive for the heartworms.
Forbes said that it was unfortunate to see him in that state and we knew that he needed a lot of care to heal before anyone come to adopt him.
Then, luckily TAGG found a good foster home for Neo which was with Wendy Fox, and it could help him receive the care he requires.
Wendy took care of Neo very happily, and within a few months, his true colors started to come out. He gained more than 40 pounds and was perfectly heartworms free.
Neo began to look like a different dog once his health started coming back. It is such amazing sights to watch him gain back his health and happiness.
Wendy Fox began love Neo so much that she adopted him herself and finally Neo got him forever home.
It was a great effort put by TAGG rescue team because they helped Neo live his life as he deserves. Neo now loves to walk around the water sprinklers and significant bodies of water. It is so great to see the little fella lives his life with joy and happiness.
