Knowing that teenagers can be sneaky, he also keeps an emergency family iPhone secretly hidden in her daughter’s car to always track her location.

Last weekend, when his daughter told him she was going to her friend Brett’s house to prepare for academic competition, he decided to check the hidden iPhone after dinner.

He said that his daughter’s iPhone location showed she was at her friend’s house but the hidden iPhone showed she was at a bar.

He called his daughter to confront her and she told him she was at her friend’s house.

But, he decided to find out the truth and drove his car to the hidden iPhone’s location. He had also informed Brett’s father and asked him to do the same.

The father found his car parked near the LGBT nightlife area.

He wrote: ‘I walked around asking the bouncers at the bars if they had seen my daughter or her friend (I showed them photos). I finally talked to one who remembered turning away my daughter and Brett earlier in the night for trying to use fake IDs.’

Finally, he found his daughter and her friend Brett at a coffee house. The father went into the coffee house and brought his daughter back home.

He wrote: ‘After we returned home, my daughter confessed to trying to sneak into a gay club with Brett, who apparently is closeted to his parents and school.’

‘She was most upset that I outed Brett to his parents this way. But she has not given me any reason to trust her or her friend Brett given their behavior this weekend.’

He said if he hadn’t installed an emergency phone in the car, he wouldn’t have known what his daughter was up to.

He added: ‘Sure, I violated her and Brett’s privacy, but I feel it’s justified.’

The father was slammed for his post and Intenet users asked him to stop stalking his daughter.

Some even said parents like him raise ‘excellent liars’ but some defended him saying the daughter shouldn’t have lied to her parents.
