He said: “The doctors asked if I had been to China and that was enough to disregard Covid-19 and for them to tell me that I may have a seasonal virus, but they gave me some antibiotics just in case.”

He started struggling to breathe and stay awake. Finally, his wife called 999 and he was rushed to a hospital.

Matt was told his lungs failed as the deadly virus spread throughout his body and he became critically ill.

Matt recorded the “goodbye” video for his wife and child from the intensive care while he was waiting to be put on a ventilator.

He advised everyone to stay at home and stop going out for any reason as the deadly virus is capable of killing even a healthy person.

Matt told to ‘stop being an idiot’ as he is seeing people saying goodbye to their family members through a glass window every day.

He said he wouldn’t wish this on any enemy and urged everyone to stay at home, to stop panic buying, and to stop risking loved ones.
