Aside from punching bad guys and sending them flying away with whip-like leg kicks like Bruce Lee, one of the enduring images of martial artists is that of someone who can take the strongest blows without flinching or being able to break things just using their body.

While most people are brought down to reality the moment they start taking up martial arts, one man from Pakistan manages to break records by literally breaking things. And his latest feat is getting the world record for the number of walnuts smashed using just his elbow.

He said: “My aim is to make 50 world records and make my country proud.

“I practiced for three months before the final attempt.

“Now I am only six records short to complete my target.”

He already has several Guinness World Records under his belt for such feats like most green coconuts smashed with his head to most bottle caps removed with his head in a minute.

Rashid is not just doing this for himself but hopes his actions inspire young kids in Pakistan to start learning martial arts.

He said: “When I started martial arts there were just a few people in Karachi who were interested in martial arts. Now as we hold so many records and fan following, people’s interest is increasing.

“They are encouraging their children to learn this art. It also helps remain fit.

“I want to obtain a grant from the government to establish a proper academy so more people can join us.”
