Fatally Ill Man Sings “The Dance” While On the Hospital Bed


A firefighter, Marc Wright, has been battling through cancer for the last three years.

He has worked in Columbia and Missouri area for 30 years as a firefighter.

It was upsetting for him to find out that even after the surgery and chemotherapy, his cancer was spreading in the two lymph nodes, liver, and his lungs.

Marc passed away in the hospital bed, surrounded by the people who love him on 29 January 2019.

Before passing away, Marc sang a song from the Garth Brook’s classic, which is ‘The Dance and one of his friend played guitar in the background.

If his favorite musician would have heard him, then he would have praised him for the fantastic singing qualities.

Since the time he was 17 years old, Marc used to work as a firefighter and saved a lot of lives.

At the age of 19, Marc got a certificate for the emergency medical technician, and then he was hired by the Boone Hospital Center as an EMT.

Marc finally got retired in 2017 when he was battling his cancer. There are surveys which show that one of the main reasons for death among the firefighters is cancer.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health claims that a maximum number of firefighters battle with cancer and lose their lives.

The firefighters usually have cancer for the respiratory system, which is followed by GI.
