A classic puzzle with nine dots has once again started trending on social media after people were urged to solve the problem.
While you may have heard of this challenge before, you might have already forgotten about the solution. And if this is the first time you see it, even better!
Your job sounds simple enough. Pick up a pen and draw nine dots on a piece of paper as seen in the picture above. From there, you simply need to connect ALL nine dots using four straight lines.
An important note here is that you are not allowed to lift your pen or hand while drawing the lines, meaning that you have to start drawing the subsequent line where the previous one ended.
Keep in mind that it is easy to connect all of the dots using five lines, as seen in the picture above. However, it is also possible to do it with just FOUR lines!

In order to solve this puzzle, you have to think outside the box – literally!
Though rules say you need to use only four straight lines to finish the challenge, no one said anything about the length of the lines you’re using.
To solve the puzzle, simply cross the invisible square boundaries with your lines to make a kite-like shape. This will allow you to connect more dots at once and finish your task.
