Reality star Dog the Bounty Hunter, 68, has joined the hunt for Gabby Petito’s missing fiancé Brian Laundrie.
“I will find him,” the former bail bondsman, whose real name is Duane Chapman, told Daily Mail.
Dressed in black, Chapman arrived at the house of Laundrie’s parents Roberta and Christopher on Saturday afternoon.
“I need to speak to the father,” Chapman said before banging the door of the home in North Port, Florida.
“I need to ask him where his son is. Is he in there?”
When asked if he was confident of finding the missing boyfriend, Chapman vowed to Daily Mail: “I will find him.”
“I’m chasing several leads. We’ve got a lot of leads. I can’t tell you more but we are getting leads every ten minutes,” he added.
23-year-old Brian Laundrie has been missing since September 15. According to reports, he allegedly told his parents that he was going on a hike in Carlton Reserve but his parents told police three days later that their son had not returned.
On September 19, Gabby Petito’s remains were found at the Spread Creek campground in Grand Teton National Park.
A coroner ruled that the 22-year-old died as a result of a homicide.
Local police and FBI are still searching for Laundrie in an alligator-infested reserve.
The FBI has issued a federal arrest warrant for Laundrie in connection with the death of his girlfriend. He is accused of using her credit card and allegedly spent $1,000 after the van-life woman went missing.
Chapman is now ‘volunteering’ his services as he was moved to help the grieving family of Petito, the Daily Mail reported.
“Dog and Francie have experienced extreme loss themselves,” Champan’s rep said. “Their hearts go out to Gabby’s family and want to help bring justice for her death.”
