When it comes to making an announcement through a digital medium, design team plays a major role in building enthusiasm and attracting maximum attention from the viewers.

A design team’s main job is to come up with an exciting and innovative design idea that instantly captures the viewer’s intellects and creates an environment of excitement.

Brainstorming the design, catchy title, tagline, effects comes under the design team job profile that proves to be helpful. The design team then sends off the blueprint to their seniors to receive approval from them before finalizing it.

However, there are times when the littlest things skip everyone’s eye and become a major issue among the public.

Something similar has happened to the design team of Red Warriors Basketball team who has designed a poster for Philipines Championship organized by Red Wire University Athletic Association.

The post that went viral on social media depicted something different than its actual meaning. It was pretty clear from the picture that it was trying to say “Make It Count” wherein O in the count was supposedly hidden by player’s head that completely turned the meaning of the slogan making it obscene.

The viewers have criticized the marketing team by saying that they should have at least taken a thorough look at the poster before posting it or consulted an Australian as they would have noticed it.

Before the matter slipped through the hands, the team came into action and directed the team to upload a new post with the necessary rectifications. The revised post had“Make It Count” written on the right side of each player.

A similar design fail was witnessed at Singapore’s United Overseas Banks when it released a credit card. An exclusive diamond-embellished credit card launched for the wealthiest customers who have a minimum balance of 2 million.

At a promotional event last week, the framed credit card was put on display where the credit card frame had a tagline at the bottom “For those who value exclusivity in it’s most extinguished form.”

While it is undetermined that whether the distinguished was wrongly typed as extinguished or the content team literally meant extinguished, the entire issue bought shame to the bank.
