A dog was depressed and anxious when she arrived at the Marin Humane Society in Novato, California.

The facility named her Cora after a Downton Abbey character and did everything to make her happy but nothing worked.

Then after a medical examination, they came to know that Cora had recently given birth to a litter of puppies and she was missing her four tiny pups.

The shelter decided to contact her previous owners to reunite Cora with her pups.

“We told them that it was best for the dogs to be nursed by their mother,” says Lisa Bloch of the Marin Humane Society.

They brought in the puppies and named them Mosley, Branson, Edith and Carson after Downton Abbey characters.

When Cora’s four puppies arrived at the shelter, her reaction was heartwarming. She instantly recognized them and her puppies instantly lifted her mood.
