A step-daughter sent her step-father on a scavenger hunt for clues that left him in tears at the end.

Lacee sent her step-father, Jason Jusino on a scavenger hunt for clues on his 35th birthday.

The hunt begins at the family’s home in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Jason was given a set of coordinates to enter into his GPS.

He got the first envelope with a single word, hidden on a shelf of soft toys in a shop but he was not allowed to open the envelope until the end of the quest.

He found the second envelope on a pier near the Fudpuckers restaurant. He then found a third envelope at a bar where he provided the code word to the bartender who then gave him the envelope.

He then went to a Build-a-Bear shop and finally, the family sat together for dinner at the end of the day.

He then got the fifth envelope from the waitress and when he opened all five envelopes, it contained 5 words: “Will you be my dad?”

Lacee then gives her step-father the official documents of her application to be adopted by him.

Jason was left in tears. They both hugged each other and couldn’t stop crying.

The heartwarming video left everyone teary-eyed after it was posted online. One user wrote: ‘What the best birthday gift. Thumbs up’ while another added: ‘He is not a stepdad, he is a man that steps up to be a dad.’
