We all love good ghost stories, or stories about a secret room that’s been kept hidden for ages.
So when a group of Norwegian students was told about a secret room from their landlord, it wasn’t that surprising to see them trying to find out more about it. Besides, this room was said to be used during the World War II, which adds more dramatic effect about the room! Who used it, for what kind of purpose, intrigued them.
They set out to find out more about this secret room, and thankfully, the students recorded every step of their journey – making it a lot easier for others to witness what they found .point 156 |

After searching for the secret room everywhere, they finally ended up in the attic.point 326 |
And they had a strange feeling that the room was hidden up here.point 52 |

They opened the door, and a ladder dropped down.point 92 | Half curious and half anxious, the group all went up.point 136 | 1
It looked like an ordinary attic that could be found anywhere. Little did they know that they were so close to finding the hidden room!
When one of the students stretched her legs against this wood panelling near the back of the attic, the wall miraculously moved.point 107 |

As you can tell from the photo, the room is very small – it turned out that it was used as a hideout during World War II.point 308 |
Although it’s small, people guess that this room was probably used to fit a whole family inside during the chaotic times.point 109 |

And inside this hidden room, the students found a note –
it said, in Norwegian, “If you have a bad stomach, you do not have access.point 227 |

They also found an interesting alarm, which was probably used as a warning light for any intruders. It was wired to the wall.
Not only that, a worn down maps of Southern Britain and northern France was also in the room.
One last thing this group found in the room was a small white doll shoe.
