Chick-Fil A’s Sales Have Gone Up The Board Over The Years Despite LGBTQ Boycotts and Protests


It looks like no matter how much hate the restaurant chain has received or how it is being protested against since 2012, they are only rising high and high.

The protest and harassment that started back in 2012 to kill the company seem to go waste as it has only helped the company increase its sales and profits.

Back in the year 2012, the protests by the LGBT groups begun as the CEO of the company said something against the morality of same-sex marriage. Analysts said that ever since the protest begun the annual sales of the company have doubled up.

After the boycott begun in 2012, the annual sales of the company went up from $4.1 billion to $4.6 billion in comparison to the previous year’s sales.

The total of the sale in the year 2018 was recorded to be $10.46 billion. Chick-Fil A was the third-largest restaurant chain of the year following McDonald’s and Starbucks in the USA.

In the span of just 7 years, the company opened about 700 new outlets. Also, in the year 2018 alone, the company had a hike in their sales by 16.7%.

Mark Kalinowski, founder of Kalinowski Equity Research said that if the company is given enough time, it will beat Starbucks too as they have the potential to reach $30 billion of annual sales.

With the protest still going on by a minority group on the far of left, it is causing the company no harm. In fact, the protest has led in a hike in sales of the company.

The restaurant chain was also awarded the title of the fast-food establishment with the most number of satisfied customers.
