The coronavirus pandemic that is raging throughout the world right now has caused upheavals in the way people live their daily lives.

Being forced to self-isolate, combined with the unsettling thought that you don’t really know who else has the virus and if you’ll be the next one to get infected, is causing a lot of mental and emotional stress.

In the US, restaurants are forced to close their doors to dine-in guests and resort to serving takeout meals for the safety of both the customers and their staff.

In the case of The Cheesecake Factory, they announced through social media on March 18 that while they are closing their dine-in service, their takeout and delivery services (through DoorDash) will be operating as normal.

“Your well-being & safety is our number one priority. As many cities transition to not allowing dine-in service, we remain open for takeout & delivery. Even when we’re apart, we can get through this together.” the company posted.

However, The Cheesecake Factory wanted to add a little more something to maintain a little happiness in these trying times which is why they also said they’re giving away free cheesecake slices for customers whose online orders are worth $30 or more from now until April 16. Simply add the promo code FREESLICE at checkout when ordering online to get your free slice on pick-up or Curbside To-Go orders.
