Cat Seen Wearing A Human Mask With Eye Holes for Protection From Coronavirus


To prevent the harmful effects of coronavirus in China, pet owners are giving the pets face masks.

The epidemic has killed almost 1000 people, infecting 43000 people.

However, 395 global cases have been reported with death issues in the Philippines. The mask is used despite the fact that there are no such preventive methods to catch the virus attack.

The careful pet owners are adopting some precautionary measures starting with the face masks in China. 

Some pictures of cats wearing face masks are posted on social media pages which are similar to the masks that human beings are using. However, the pet owner has to cut the mask at the holes so that the cats can see through it.

The source of the photos is Weibo which is a popular Chinese social media platform. The video has been uploaded by blogger Li Shen Le who has got it from one of her followers.

Other than this, there are pictures of animals using guards to prevent them from catching the infectious coronavirus on different social media platforms. The animals are seen wearing water bottles and cups other than face masks for safety.

In this regard, the World Health organization is of the opinion that it is not possible to catch the widespread virus from animals.

The cats are seen wearing masks but Jonathan Bill who is a profession of molecular virology under the University of Nottingham said that it might not be completely safe to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Therefore, you can free your cat from wearing the mask as the preventive method may not be useful.
