Weddings are an emotional time for everyone.

It’s a time for spotlighting a relationship in front of family and friends, and celebrating that union. There’s a reason why people plan their weddings for months, or even years, and call it the most important day of their lives.

But sometimes problems do occur, which can make for an uncomfortable time for the people getting married and guests alike.

This happened to Evan, when is fiancée Brittany decided to walk away while the two were at the altar about to make their vows.

But what happens next is a surprise to everyone.

Evan starts panicking when he sees his partner turn away from him. I would be panicking too—though weddings have certainly become more creative than traditional in recent years, leaving the altar before the ceremony concludes is typically a bad sign.

But in this beautiful video, we see that it isn’t a bad sign at all.

The bride turns away as music cues and she delivers her vows in a way that brings tears to people’s eyes.

Brittany begins signing the lyrics to a song to her husband-to-be. The song itself is touching, and her reciting it in ASL is an incredible display of love and devotion for Evan.

Evan of course realizes what’s happening and is only too happy to watch his partner sign for him.

Any hard of hearing and deaf guests would likely feel touched by this too. Many hearing people do not know or understand ASL, which makes Brittany’s efforts not only a show of love, but also one of inclusivity.

The video of this moment has gone viral with more than two millions views, and it’s no surprise. The video will bring tears to your eyes too.

Many viewers feel touched. “What a beautiful video, and what a beautiful and generous gift to share with the Guests, I would believe that some of those in attendance are Deaf, hence her wanting to share it with them. They felt part of the Ceremony, that way. Thanks for sharing your day with us,” wrote one viewer.

“They made it such a touching and caring gesture by making it a part of their ceremony and taking it to the next level by doing it herself! Anyone with a heart could see and feel their loving expressions. I salute the bride and groom and wish that your years together are happy, prosperous and for a life-time,” posted another.
