23-year-old mother, who was forced to give birth at 25 weeks due to complications, was released from the hospital after 156 days.

 After a kidney infection, Regan Daughtery was hospitalized in Lindale, Texas. Doctors found out that her baby was not growing so she was transferred to a hospital in Dallas.

 She gave birth to her son Ezra on November 6 at 25 weeks who weighed just 14 ounces.

Regan, baby Ezra and Regan’s boyfriend Dillon Fitts had to stay in NICU for nearly six months.

 Her boyfriend Dillon decided to surprise Regan when she was finally discharged from the hospital after 156 days.

On April 10, Dillon live-streamed when Regan was being discharged from the hospital. Little did she know Dillon was about to propose her.

When they were out the hospital door, Dillon went on his knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him. Regan was left shocked as she was not expecting this.

They pushed me around the NICU to do the goodbyes but when we got down to the lobby, a big surprise was waiting for me.point 95 | point 98 | 1

 “Dillon had close friends and family lined up and they all handed me flowers. In the end, everyone gathered in the main lobby and he and I said our goodbyes. Dillon then got down on one knee and popped the question I had been waiting for.”
