A little boy landed himself in great trouble while trying to get a teddy bear from an arcade claw machine.

When Natalie Draper took her three-year-old to a play center in Mansfield, UK, she couldn’t even have imagined what was coming up for her.

The adventurous boy, named Noah, got sight of the arcade claw machine when his 37-year-old mother left him with his friend.

Natalie had to take Noah’s twin brother to the toilet but when she returned, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

“I had taken my sons out to an indoor play center to keep them entertained for the morning, but I never expected this to happen,” the mother said.

“I had taken his brother, Joel, to the toilet and left Noah playing with his friend for a matter of minutes.

“But when I came back, a lady grabbed me and asked if ‘that was my child in there’ – to which I replied ‘in where?’

“As soon as she said ‘the machine’ I rushed over to take a look and could see Noah had climbed into the crane and got himself stuck.”

When Natalie learned that the play center didn’t have the keys to the machine as it was owned by a third party, she was terribly frightened.

However, the staff managed to release the little boy by breaking three padlocks of the machine after a ten minutes’ long effort.

The woman said these 10 minutes were the most terrifying 10 minutes of her life. But she admits that she can also see the funny aspect of Noah’s adventure, now that the boy is out of trouble.

“So they had to break off three padlocks using a screwdriver and then twist the lock using a knife to be able to break the door open and get him out,” the mother-of-three said.

“But he came out completely unscathed, thankfully, and an ‘out of order’ sign was placed on the machine. Now it’s all over and we’re home I can’t stop laughing at what happened.

“All he wanted was a teddy bear – if he’d asked me for the money I would have got one for him, he didn’t need to go to such extreme lengths.”

It’s not known if little Noah succeeded in scooping the teddy he now deserves more than anyone.
