13-Year-Old Boy Died After Suffering From Covid-19 Complications


A 13-year-old boy has passed away after suffering from coronavirus complications.

Peyton Baumgarth from Missouri died from the disease only days after he developed symptoms of coronavirus.

The teen, who went to Washington Middle School in Franklin County west of St. Louis, became the state’s youngest victim of Covid-19.

Peyton started a quarantine on October 26 but when his condition worsened, he was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to complications of the virus.

School officials wrote in an email to staff and parents: “We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family.

“The family also asks that we all remember to wear masks, wash hands frequently and follow guidelines.”

The school added: “COVID-19 is real and we want to remind students and parents to take these precautions in and outside of school.

“Because we know this will impact our school community emotionally, we encourage you to be especially sensitive and prepare to offer support to your children during this difficult time.”

A GoFundMe page set up for the family describes Peyton as a “wonderful young man, who always had a smile to share with you.”

“He was so very sweet and caring and FUN. He loved Christmas, video games, and enjoyed making YouTube videos, playing Pokemon GO, playing football and being with his family,” the page adds.

One person wrote: “My heart breaks for you on the loss of your son Peyton. May his young and innocent soul Rest In Peace and may he be your guardian Angel forever.”

Another said: “So saddened to hear about this young man’s sudden passing. Please hold all your memories of him in your heart and he will always be with you. Heaven has a special little angel now.”
