Family and friends of Morales said she was found with stab wounds but it not clear if it was Pierre who caused it.

They said that the young mother met Pierre on Facebook only three weeks ago but they were only friends.

Yeison Giron, Morales’ high school sweetheart and the father of her baby boy, said he felt something was wrong when she did not come back home.

In an interview with CBS News, Giron said: “It’s not like her to leave our son behind and just disappear. She loves our son and would never do that.”

Morales’ cousin, Vicki Castro, told Boston25: “I don’t know what could’ve been happening but for her to be stabbed that is very brutal. She was stabbed. I have no clue – I don’t want to make speculations.”

He added: “It doesn’t make any sense for them to just drive into the water. She was not depressed, she was not suicidal, she was very, very happy.”

Pierre was also a father of a 9-month-old baby girl.
