Bode Miller’s Son Learns to Float:

According to the Standford Children’s Health, more than 830 children ages of 14 and under drowning every year. The children between the age of one and four years are the most common age for kids to drown.
When the summer comes, this horror sets in and everyone hopes to listen to fewer stories about small babies drowning. The drowning incidents will happen, but all we can do is take precautions and cause awareness to prevent this from happening around us.
The Olympic skier Bode Miller and his wife Morgan Beck Miller lost their 19-month-old daughter as she fell and drowned in the neighbor’s swimming pool.
Morgan said that when she turned around the door that was closed but a small silver line of light was coming through the door.
She claimed that her heart sank to what she saw because as she opened the door, her daughter was floating in the pool. Morgan quickly ran and jumped in to save her baby, but it was too late.
The couple was so upset after Emmy’s death that they are spreading awareness amongst people so that more children don’t face this.
The newest family member of the Miller family who is just six months old is being taught how to float so that he doesn’t face what his sister faced.
The couple is making Easton learn some methods and skills for surviving in the water.
The couple says that they don’t want any more kids to drown and that’s why they are spreading awareness and precautions. She also posted some videos of the swimming lessons with Easton on Instagram.
Though the little boy isn’t so happy about being in the water the 10-minute lesson was valuable. She wrote on Instagram that she cried tears of hope while making her baby boy learn the saving skills in the water and also she is sad about what happened to her baby girl.
It is essential to take precautions and cause awareness so that such incidents don’t happen with other kids around us.
