Ben Affleck, 49, says he has never been happy as he heads towards 50, adding that ‘life is good’, Extra reports.
“I’m very happy,” Ben told Extra’s Jenn Lahmers. “It is a very happy time in my life. Life is good.”
The actor seems to be very in love with his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, 52.
Ben and Jennifer were last seen holding hands on Sunday for a screening of the actor’s new film The Tender Bar held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
The Tender Bar was based on a book by J.R. Moehringer. The story follows a boy who seeks father figures among the patrons at the bar run by his uncle, played by Ben.
Back in April, the couple started dating again after Jennifer’s split from fiance Alex Rodriguez.
The two have traveled to Italy and New York while publicly displaying their affection for each other.
According to a source, they are making plans to spend time together over Christmas.
“They will both get a break,” an insider told People. “For Jennifer, Christmas is all about the kids. She makes it very special for them. She loves Christmas.”
Jennifer has 13-year-old twins Maximilian and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony while Ben has Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, nine, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
They are both keen to spend time with their kids and each other over the holiday season, the source said.
“This year, it will take some more planning since Ben wants to be with his kids too,” the source added. “They haven’t made any specific holiday decisions yet and are still working it all out.”
But for now, the couple is apart as Ben has been in Texas making a film while Jennifer is shooting a movie titled The Mother for Netflix in Vancouver.
