An Irish pub in Florida have blacklisted MMA star Conor McGregor and poured bottles of his whiskey down the loo!
The ban came after a video emerged that showed the Irishman lashing out at a stranger on April 6 this year. According to reports, McGregor went to the pub and offered free shots of his product but on man said no and rejected the glass two times.
The UFC star didn’t like it and threw a punch at the man before two people stopped him.
Bar manager Sean Rice condemned McGregor’s actions and wrote on Facebook: “Official Notice: Due to the recent cowardly and appalling behavior of the so-called Irish professional fighter Conor McGregor, the Salty Shamrock Irish Pub will no longer carry his product nor associate its business with his name.
“We will discard his whiskey in a fashion that’s only fitting to his behavior.
“I challenge every Irish bar owner to do the same! He is not a true representative of the Irish people.”
A Facebook Live video showed bar employee pouring bottles of McGregor’s Proper Twelve down the loo.
Since the video emerged, UFC boss Dana White said: “That happened in April. I knew that happened, they just got the video. It’s pretty bad.
“Not allegedly, it’s pretty clear. So, apparently this was in a pub in Ireland and it was an argument over whiskey. Conor has a whiskey now and it was an argument over the whiskey and Conor reaches out and hits him with a left hook.
“I don’t know the context of it. I don’t know the entire story, but he punches a guy, an older man, in the face.
“I knew that he had had an altercation at a bar, but I didn’t know with who or any of that, I didn’t know anything. I just knew it happened.”
Khabib Nurmagomedow also said he thinks McGregor should be sent to jail. He said to TMZ Sport: “These people, they have to go to jail. I told you, this guy have no class. No respect.
“This is very bad for sport. Some things he doing good for sport, but right now he without his mind. He lose his mind. It’s crazy.
“Government have to smash him. This is my opinion. ‘Cause I’m really, really mad about this video. I don’t understand how you can punch old man.”
