A Florida-based animal shelter is looking for volunteers to offer them a dream job of being an expert dog cuddler.
Yes, all they have to do is cuddle a bunch of dogs in the shelter.
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay put up an advertisement for individuals who are willing to cuddle the frightened canines whenever they are scared and in need.
A majority of dogs at the shelter are either abandoned or met with accidents that make them feel scared always.
It becomes important to give them the required protection and care around the shelter and cuddling is the best way to make them feel safer. The shelter got a positive response from the people when they advertise about the requirement of a dog cuddler.
There were many people who came forward to work as unique volunteers at the shelter. According to the shelter’s website, they are inviting volunteers from any age group. Those who are under 16 must accompany an adult.
The shelter is looking for volunteers who can commit at least six months of work.
Apart from cuddling the dog, these volunteers will also work with veterinarians to take good care of the dogs.
The volunteers count for the shelter has gone low earlier this year, and that’s why they were in dire need of enthusiastic volunteers who can take up the job very easily.
