But she was confused because the mountains don’t possess domestic life. But whoever she asked, they swore that there is a dog who barks at night in the mountains.

Trinity found the rumors fascinating, and she decided to investigate the fuss people are making about. There was another reason for this search mission as she has come across a lost dog poster several times in her town. So, she wondered if this barking dog and the lost dog could be the same.

She went to the mountains all alone, and to her surprise, the rumors seemed to be true as she heard a dog barking, but she had no idea of where the barking is coming from.

She searched the mountains for a while, but she couldn’t find anything. She returned home but only to come back tomorrow. The very next day, she called her friend Sean Nicholas to lend her a hand in this rescue mission.

They wandered the mountains for a while searching for the dog, but there was no clue of the dog. However, when they were packing their stuff, they heard a dog barking.

They ran towards the direction of the sound from where it was coming. They couldn’t believe their eyes, but it was Chloe, a 14-year-old dog who was lost.

For the past six weeks, she was missing and wandering alone in Colorado mountains. Her owners searched for her everywhere possible, but they had no idea that she will end up in the mountains.

Trinity and Sean packed Chloe in their car and got back to town. Later, they shared their story on social media about locating the lost dog.

The owners of the dog immediately contacted Trinity and asked them to meet. Chloe was severely malnourished as she was alone in the mountains with nothing to eat. Her weight was reduced to 26 pounds.

Her owners had a joyful and emotional reunion with her. Well, a dog of her age could not tolerate being malnourished and would have probably died, but Chloe managed to cope up with that and showed the signs of improvement.

However, it is still a long way to go for Chloe, but if it weren’t for Trinity and Sean, she probably would have died in the mountains. Thanks to Trinity Smith and Sean Nicholas for showing the courage to find the lost dog.
