Donald Trump has been temporarily blocked from adding new videos to his YouTube channel over policy violations.
After the President has been indefinitely banned from Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, Trump has also been facing obstruction on YouTube where his channel was slapped with a temporary ban.
While the platform didn’t reveal which of the President’s comments was in violation of their policies, they insisted that Trump broke the rules after he uploaded a video in which he warned the Democrats to “be careful what you wish for.”
“The 25th Amendment is of zero risk to me but will come back to haunt Joe Biden and the Biden administration. As the expression goes: Be careful what you wish for,” Trump said in his Tuesday speech.
“The impeachment hoax is a continuation of the greatest and most vicious witch hunt in the history of our country, and it is causing tremendous anger and division and pain – far greater than most people will ever understand, which is very dangerous for the USA, especially at this very tender time.”
According to YouTube, the President has been slapped with a 7-day ban, whereas his channel could face 90 days of restrictions if it gets another strike.
“After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies,” YouTube explained.
“It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading new content for a minimum of 7 days.”
On top of the 7-day ban on new content, comments on the President’s videos have also been disabled.
