Last year in April, a video emerged on social media that showed a dog swimming continuously trying to reach the surface but had no way of getting back on the land.
The canine was on the verge of drowning from exhaustion when suddenly a young man dangled himself from the safety barrier of the canal trying to get closer to the dog.
The footage shows a bystander grabbing the young man’s arm while he held the dog with his two legs. The young man safely pulled the dog out of the canal.
The video was posted on Facebook and garnered millions of views. People across the internet appreciated the young man for risking his life to save a dog.
People cherished the anonymous man’s quick thinking and motivation to go an extra mile to save the dog.
One of the Facebook users commented on the video saying that this man should be given a letter of commendation. God will bless him with happiness and success; it was a kind and brave thing to do.
Moreover, they also appreciated the bystanders for helping the man while he dangled onto the safety barrier of the canal.
It was a team effort and even the dog knew that the men are trying to help him.
