Medical Staff In Wuhan Revealed The Hardship Dealing With The Coronavirus, Especially On Their Masked Faces


Photos have surfaced showing Chinese medical staff with immense facial wounds and extreme exhaustion that they have got from their selfless efforts against the infamous coronavirus.

Wuhan is the first city to be hit by the virus and so far, it is the worst city to be affected by it.

The pictures showing exhausted doctors and support staff have gone viral on social media and people are sharing them on and on to highlight the dedication of the medics.

According to the local media sources, the medical staff from the city of Wuhan, Hubei, Eastern China are working day and night, nonstop to help the people suffering from the deadly virus that has claimed hundreds of lives so far and has affected thousands of people from all over the world.

Most of the workers are not even finding the time to go home and rest. The exhausted medics sleep on chairs and hospital floor during the break and continue their duty right after.

Some of the medical teams are so busy that they can’t even find the time to have a proper meal or go to the lavatory to ease themselves.

In addition to that, they have to wear heavy protective gear to shield themselves against the virus. The masks and goggles they wear for protection leave scars on their faces.

That’s not all, the medical staff has to deal with. There is mental, physical and emotional stress too.

They have to wear safety masks and tight suits that leave marks, scabs, and sores on their bodies, some of which can be seen in these photos.

So far, more than 20,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in China alone. These also include a baby aged just one month in the south-western Guizhou province of China.

There have been 492 deaths because of the virus until the last week, out of which, 490 were Chinese.

Around 60 million people throughout China are living in a lockdown as there are thousands of cases of the disease reported from three separate cities of the country.

There is no cure or vaccination for the disease till now but scientists all over the world are working to find a remedy.
