Angry waste disposal workers recorded themselves dumping a truckload of rubbish on the driveway of one of their customers after she refused to pay and blocked their phone numbers.
The incident happened in Wales, UK, where brothers Calum and Jonathan Morgan took revenge on a non-paying customer who “failed to pay up” after asking them to get rid of her mess.
As the owners of a small business called Cardiff Waste Removal & House Clearance claimed, the customer left her home after they were done cleaning it up and failed to come back with money to pay the brothers as she had promised.
Allegedly, the woman then blocked the disposal workers’ four different phone numbers. After the brothers threatened the customer with the return of the trash should she not pay, the woman reportedly dared them to do so.
Unwilling to let the non-paying customer get what she wanted without paying for it, the brothers unloaded a truckload of rubbish they had spent two hours gathering right on the woman’s driveway.
“This is what happens to customers who don’t pay. They get a refund, free of charge hey Jon?” Calum is heard saying in a video the brothers shared on Facebook.
Speaking of the unruly customer and the job they were tasked with, Jonathan explained “she seemed like a really nice lady” and said they offered her a huge discount after she had told them “she didn’t have too much money.”
“We said we’d do it for just above cost price. We weren’t making a huge amount on the job, just wanted to help her out. We were obviously angry but it also made us a little bit upset,” Jonathan said.
As he went on to explain, the woman promised to go get some cash before she started making excuses, ignoring their calls, and blocking their phone numbers.
According to the brothers, they missed out on their other planned work for the day while waiting for the customer to come back and pay them.
“We said if she didn’t pay us within the hour, we’d return the property to her. She sort of dared us to and said she didn’t think we’d do it,” Jonathan added. “But we did. All we did was give her back her property. I wouldn’t want to be accused of stealing.”
