Two Women Wearing Long Garments Were Caught Stealing Food In A Store


Two women wearing Religious garments tried to steal and stuffed around 20 items in their robes.

The incident occurred at a supermarket in east London and was shared online by internet users.

Shoppers gathered around the two thieves as they pulled out the items from their long garments while surrounded by Asda staff and security.

One of the women raised her robe to prove that she is no longer hiding any more items.

The make shopper who filmed the incident said to the woman: “You’re not even Muslim, look at these lot. Take that off, bl**dy hell man.”

Steve Thorogood captioned his post: “Look at this thieving toe rag at Dagenham Asda disguised as a Muslim.”

People who watched the video claimed the women were just pretending to be Muslim to steal from stores. It is not known where the thieves are now.

The video was shared online and it quickly went viral but Asda didn’t report the incident to authorities right away. The store is now working with local police to resolve the issue.

“We do not tolerate any form of shoplifting and work hard to deter shoplifters from our stores,” a spokesperson for Asda said in a statement.

“All cases of attempted theft are taken seriously and we always work closely with the local police force in the communities we serve.

“We are in contact with Dagenham Police about this incident and would like to thank colleagues at our Dagenham store for their quick intervention and response in this case.”

One internet user commented: “Surely a Muslim women wouldn’t pull her skirt up like that in front of them men.”

Another said: “This is another reason why burkhas should be banned.”

A third said: “If they were Muslim, they wouldn’t have lifted up the garment! The idea of it is modesty?”
