A 31-year-old woman, who was adopted when she was a baby by a couple, searched for her sister for years and finally found out she lives next door.
Hillary Harris and her brother, Tyler Hardy were given up for adoption and were adopted by a couple, Lee Hardy and his wife Rochelle in 1987.
In 2011, Hillary, from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, decided to find her biological family when she was pregnant with her daughter Stella.

She found out the names of her biological parents through the adoption agency. She found out her biological father, Wayne Clouse had died in 2002.
She also discovered that she had two half-sisters named Dawn Johnson and Renee Diericks.
She decided to track down her sisters on Facebook but couldn’t find them.
In June 2017, a woman named Dawn and her partner Kurt Casperson came to live next door.
She then found out that Dawn was from Greenwood – the same place that her half-sister lived. She thought she might be her sister. But when Hillary saw Dawn’s surname ‘Johnson’ written on a package, she knew it was her.
Hillary sent her a text asking who her father was and she said that her father’s name was Wayne.
Hillary said: “For me, this is 100 percent fate. I was so sad when I discovered my biological father had passed away. But by meeting Dawn, I feel like I have all the answers I will ever need. She’s the missing puzzle piece I have been looking for so many years.”
“For me, something first clicked in June when I first found out her name was Dawn and she was from Greenwood. My husband and me joked for a few weeks that she was my sister but we didn’t know her last name.”
“One day she got a delivery of shingles for her roof and it was addressed to Dawn Johnson, the same name in Wayne’s obituary. I began to shake. It was such an intense moment”, she added.
Hillary says since then they have grown so close. Hillary also met her biological mother who revealed that she and her brother, Tyler were the results of an affair and she had to give them for adoption.
