Woman Who Tried To Kidnap A Four-Year-Old Boy From McDonald’s Has Been Arrested

A woman has been arrested by Los Angeles Police who tried to kidnap a four-year-old boy from a local McDonald’s.

33-year-old Maralyn Ramos approached a four-year-old boy inside a McDonald’s restaurant located at 1310 East Olympic Blvd in downtown L.A.’s fashion district.

Ramos picked him up and started walking out of the restaurant while his family was ordering food.

A little girl who was sitting in the restaurant alerted adults who stopped her. The woman then fled the scene.

Surveillance video shows the woman approaching the little boy and walking out of the restaurant.

The official Twitter page of LAPD tweeted:

‘We need your help to identify & arrest this kidnap suspect. On May 14 she kidnapped a 4 yr old from inside a McDonald’s restaurant on Olympic Blvd & Central Ave, but fortunately, witnesses intervened & she let the child go. Any info contact LAPD RHD Detectives (213) 486-6840.’

LAPD said in an emailed statement: ‘The suspect attempted to enter a parked vehicle with the victim, but was stopped by a witness.point 366 |

The suspect fled on foot from the area.point 32 | point 35 | 1

On Wednesday, the woman was arrested near the intersection of San Pedro and Agatha streets in downtown Los Angeles.

She was charged with kidnapping and has been held in lieu of on a $100,000 bond.
