A woman from Los Angeles has shared how she spent $16,000 to have a collection of ‘werewolf’ babies.
Yvette Solomon, a proud mom of 16 werepups, said most of her dolls have been made using her and her husband’s hair.
The dolls have been designed to look like werewolf babies and she considers them her ‘family.’
One of the dolls has been fitted with the teeth of a dead cat, which were given by Yvette’s friend.
Some of her pups can cost $1,000 each, and they even have their own nursery!
During her appearance on This Morning, the mother-of-16 insisted her werepups are ‘real’ and that her ‘family’ is constantly growing bigger.
Her first werepups were Talla, who wears a tutu, and Elias, who looks like a Queen’s Guard.
Yvette also has twins Anya and Jezebal, who have pentagons tattooed on their paws.
Another pup called Argyle has been designed to look like a gorilla because it identifies as a gorilla while another doll called Voodoo Baby looks like a skeleton.
The dolls are made to order by S special effects artist Asia Eriksen. They can come with a range of extras like ears or tails.
“Some of Elias’ hair is real – I sent the artist some of my own hair and some of my husbands. Some is real human hair,” Yvette said.
“[Some] have beaver hair. It’s beautiful, it’s a beautiful golden colour.
“Some have dog hair. Anything you can punch – because it’s punched in one hair at a time.”
Carrying one of the werepups, Yvette said: “He has tiny little cat teeth, my friend Tracey has a farm and she has several animals who have died, so she dug up a cat and gave me his skull and I sent it to Asia and now he has little cat fangs.”
Yvette also shared some of the reactions from strangers when she goes out with her werepups.
“There were groups of children everywhere walking up and down everywhere. A group of teenage girls were following us and staring at us. And I turned around and said: ‘This is what happens when you smoke when you’re pregnant.’”
“I have to lock the windows (when there’s a full moon) because the kids get a little wild,” she added.
