Woman Pulled Out A Sharp Weapon During A Fight Over Toilet Paper


A woman allegedly pulled a knife on another shopper during a fight over toilet paper at a supermarket in Sydney.

A spokesperson for the New South Wales Police said officers were called to a Woolworths supermarket about 1:30 pm.

According to staff members, a woman and a man had an argument over toilet paper and one of them pulled a knife on another.

Police officers rushed to the scene and a customer was seen being interrogated by investigators. Fortunately, no one sustained injuries.

A Woolworths staff said to Daily Mail Australia that the female customer had communication problems and officers found it difficult to get to the bottom of the issue.

“There was a fight over toilet paper – you could hear a commotion coming from down the end aisle,” a witness shared. “There was a knife pulled and the people started running around.

“It was all over in a few moments, security were here and police came and talked to a woman.”

Woolsworths made an announcement that shoppers are banned from buying over four packs per person.

But worried customers have raided stores of toilet paper, rice, pasta, bottled water, and hand sanitizer. A viral video showed customers crazily grabbing toilet paper at another supermarket in Revesby.

One Aldi store even enforced a radical one-pack of toilet paper per person as photos of empty supermarket shelves go viral on social media.

One internet user commented: “Some people have no shame. Imagine being filmed frantically grabbing toilet paper and running around with a trolley laden with it. In the unlikely event that toilet paper became unavailable, there are things such as wash cloths that can be used, washed and reused.”
