Mohamed and Iris have been kept apart by visa problems, which have seen the 36-year-old remain in Egypt.

His plans to go to the UK as he tries to obtain a spousal visa are currently on hold.

Sharing details about her new-found sex life, Iris previously told ITV’s This Morning’s Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “It was very rough. Nobody’s been near me for 35 years, I felt like a virgin again.

It was in November 2019 when they first met each other and they have been inseparable ever since.

However, Mohamed still needs to secure the required documents to move to the UK.

“It’s very, very, very difficult,” Iris previously said. “I lived with him for three months in Egypt. But I can’t go over there again – the heat is not good for my health.

“I have told Mohamed he has to come here to see me but if he is not granted a visa, I don’t know what’s going to happen. He wants to come over here to look after me.”

She added: “I want to sell my little bungalow and for Mohamed to get his visa, and then we can move to Bristol or Birmingham where he could get a damn good job. All I want is for us to be together.”

One person commented: “I for one wish them All the happiness they can get. I hope they approve he’s visa so he can join he’s wife. Doesn’t matter what age gender or ethnicity. As long as they’re both happy that’s the main thing. We don’t chose who we fall in love with. We just do.”

Another wrote: “Great to see them so happy on TV. Sounds like they’re having a great time together. Hope it lasts.”
