A racist woman abused Telstra workers when they asked her to follow coronavirus safety rules.
Amid coronavirus outbreak, customers are asked to apply hand sanitizer before entering Telstra stores. They are also asked whether they have traveled overseas recently or have coronavirus symptoms.
When this racist woman was asked the coronavirus safety questions, she started abusing the floor manager at Telstra store at Miranda, in Sydney’s south and told him to ‘go back to China’.
The racist woman also called herself the ‘Queen of Australia’ and told the worker she will make sure he and his whole family will be deported.
She said: “It doesn’t matter that you were born here because I am the queen of this country… Do you understand that?”
She started filming the Telstra worker telling her to leave the store. The worker was abused by the woman and he just said: ‘good on you’.
To which, she replied: “Good on me. You have been served your eviction notice with your whole family.”
She threatened the worker and two other men who supported the worker that her family will make sure the shop is shut down immediately.
Before leaving the store, she turned around and said: “And you are too, India.”
Later, a Telstra employee told Daily Mail Australia that it was the floor manager’s birthday and the racist woman abused him very badly on his birthday.
He said: “We are here to help you, we are not here to be scolded. I just feel for the Asian Chinese community. It’s not fair on us during these times. We are being mocked and treated like second-class citizens.”
The police are now investigating the incident but the identity of the racist woman is still not known.
