A woman was filmed using a tape measure to check whether her vehicle would fit into a parking space.
Now, she has been dubbed the ‘most careful woman driver ever.’
The short video was filmed by an onlooker in China. It shows the female driver standing next to her red car inside a packed car park.
After spotting a narrow space, she got out of her car and took a tape measure out of her purse. She then measured the width of her vehicle.
As the video ended, another person, presumably her passenger, shifted into the driver’s seat as she continued to measure the parking space.
It is not clear whether she or her passenger tried to park the vehicle in the space as the video was cut short.
Internet users have called her the ‘most careful woman driver ever’ after the short clip went viral with more than 10 million views in less than a day!
“She’s probably a new driver who just received her licence,” one person commented.
“Why is everyone laughing at her? At least she’s trying to be responsible for herself and to others,” another wrote.
“She really is the most careful ever,” a third said.
“If she needs a tape measure she should not be driving. Distances and widths have to be accurately assessed quickly by eyesight otherwise you are unsafe. Imagine the chaos if everyone had to get out with a tape measure to measurde a gap they were about to drive through!” someone else noted.
