A woman with Down Syndrome used to work at McDonald’s restaurant before she died.

She worked in the same restaurant at the French fries station at a Massachusetts franchise for more than 32 years.

Her death was so sudden which made everyone at the restaurant sad. Her name was Freia David, and she was born in a very caring and loving family.

Though she had Down Syndrome, this never stopped her from following her dream of working.

Freia graduated from Needham High School and also had a lot of friends. Freia was a happy-go-lucky person who loved to watch movies, Mickey Mouse and enjoyed listening to music.

Her coworkers really appreciate her work as they say that she used to serve the best French fries with a happy smile on her face.

She started going to her classes in Charles River Center which helped her, allowed her to grow in her own pace and support her throughout.

When Freia retired from her work at Mc Donald’s that time she was rewarded with a fry carton pendant and a silver necklace. She was also given a proclamation of her work from the state House of Representatives.

Even after her disabilities, she made a lot of friends who loved and respected her. The other employees who work at McDonald’s described how good Freia was, as she always used to greet people and her coworkers with a smile or a hug.

Freia’s family was so grateful to all the people from her work and class who supported her throughout her life journey without ever making her feel wrong about her disabilities.

The family also invited all of them to attend her funeral which will be organized next month. It is great to see how people accept whatever they have in their life and be grateful for it.

Rest in peace, Freia David!
