The police are on the hunt for the woman accused of shooting her boyfriend and leaving him in a critical condition after the refused to have an argument with her.
The incident occurred in Caddo Heights, Shreveport, Louisiana, where 29-year-old Jenalisha Lawrence, who is originally from Dallas, Texas, allegedly shot her 34-year-old partner.
According to the reports, the suspect has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and the authorities have issued a warrant for Lawrence’s arrest. Her bond has been set at $150,000.
When police officers arrived at the neighborhood where the shooting took place on Saturday morning, they came across the 34-year-old victim who was in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to his body.
As KXAN reported, the victim was then rushed to the hospital where he remains in critical condition as of this writing.
While speaking with witnesses of the shooting, the police came across claims that the man got shot after refusing to have an argument with Lawrence, who is allegedly his estranged girlfriend.
Following the shooting, the 29-year-old escaped the crime scene in her green Honda Accord. The police are asking the public for help and encouraging anyone with information that could lead to her whereabouts to make an anonymous call to Shreveport Caddo Crime Stoppers by dialing 318-673-7373.
