38-year-old Jessica Bernice Kropp has been arrested after police discovered a bag of methamphetamine used as a bow in her hair.
Police officer Kenneth Looney pulled her over and found the meth in her hair.
Kropp was initially pulled over due to expired registration. She told Looney that her driver’s license was suspended, according to the Baxter Bulletin.
She also said that she didn’t have car insurance and did not know where the registration for the borrowed vehicle was.
Looney found out that Kropp already had five valid warrants out for her arrest in 4 Arkansas counties, including one failure to pay fines warrant and four failure to appear warrants.
The officer ordered Kropp to step out of the car and that’s when she noticed the blow clipped to her hair.
According to an affidavit Baxter Bulletin shared, Looney noticed a small bag of methamphetamine used as a hair bow on the right side of her head.
“As I was detaining Jessica Kropp, I observed what appeared to be a bow in her hair. The bow appeared to be a small, zip-locked bag containing a white crystal-like substance of suspected methamphetamine,” he said.
“The baggie had a small rubber band around the middle, giving it a bow shape and was attached to a bobby pin. The substance was affixed to the right side of her head, attached to her hair.”
The photo taken by authorities shows the pink tied bow clipped into her blonde hair.
“Are you serious?” Looney asked. “You have a bow in your hair made from a bag of meth.”
Kropp cursed and said she didn’t know that it was there.
“I didn’t know that was there, someone else put that there and I didn’t know what it was,” Kropp explained. She also ‘begged’ not to have the vehicle towed but the officer was more interested in other illegal things she could possibly have.
Looney then fond more bags of meth , drug paraphernalia, and a vape pen with THC oil.
Because she cooperated, Looney only charged the 38-year-old with one count of drug paraphernalia and her bond was set at $22,530.
