A woman who’s been ‘dating’ a plane for several years has revealed she’s ready to tie the knot with the aircraft in an intimate ceremony.
As 30-year-old Michele Kobke from Germany explained, it’s been six years since she first took notice of the handsome 737-800 Boeing plane that she refers to as her “darling.”
Following her love at first sight, Michele kept on looking for ways to get intimate with the plane rather than just look at it through the airport windows.
After years of a long-distance relationship, in September 2019, the woman was finally able to meet her crush in person and touch its wings and thrusters. As she revealed, the pair also shared a kiss.
“The time in the hangar was the most beautiful moment of my life and when I was with him, we enjoyed our time together, we kissed and I caressed him,” she explained.
“The hangar is home for Schatz [darling] and me; we can enjoy our time together undisturbed there. I plan to move into the hangar one day and my biggest dream is to be with Schatz and to live with him.
“I also want to marry him in the hangar and spend the whole night with him. I wouldn’t want to put on a white dress, but dress really smartly with black trousers and a black blazer.”
As Michelle added, she keeps her relationship burning by resorting to a smaller model and components of the plane when she’s away from the real deal.
“Since I’m in a long-distance relationship; it is a disadvantage as I can only get to him when I fly with him. My family has reacted quite pleasantly and accepted my relationship with my 737-800,” she said.
“I sleep with my darling every night, either with real components like the spoiler, flap track fairing and tank valve or five-foot-two model; intimacy is part of our relationship.”
