An Australian woman, who married a bridge, has opened up about her ‘handsome, strong and sturdy husband’.
Jodi Rose married a bridge in France named Le Pont du Diable (The Devil’s Bridge) on the Tech River in Ceret, southern France in 2013.
When Rose was traveling to France, she fell in love with the 14th-century bridge. She married the bridge in 2013 in front of 14 guests and the mayor of neighbouring town Saint-Jean-de-Fos blessed the couple.
Recently, she opened up about her fairytale wedding and her husband.
She told Sunday Night: “I was really quite nervous. I felt like a bride. I got to have my princess wedding day.’
Rose, who still wears her wedding ring, said: “I put a ring on it, baby. I mean you’ve seen him, he’s very handsome, he’s strong and sturdy and I thought, yes, this is someone I can really connect with, and who I feel can give me some grounding.”
After finding her dream partner, Rose wrote on her blog: “He makes me feel connected to the earth and draws me to rest from my endless nomadic wanderings.point 337 |
